- Coordinate
the efforts of all disciplines involved in
the field of nuclear
medicine through
the interaction between its members that include physicians,
physicists, chemists and engineers.
- Implement
multidisciplinary scientific activities to
continuously improve the level of nuclear medicine
practice in
Egypt.
- Facilitate
attendance of both national and international
meetings by
the society members to update their knowledge
in nuclear medicine.
- Promote
communication with the public to allay their
fear from the use of radioactive material, and
acquaint them with its advantages over other
diagnostic and therapeutic methods.
- Issue
the "Egyptian Journal of Nuclear Medicine
"EJNM". It is a bi-annually magazine,
the first issue was available in the early
2009.
